Are there instructions for the replacement of the control panel?

Hi John,
Thank you for your question. There is a video on our website that you can reference on how to install the electronic control board. The oven and the electronic control board in the video may not show exactly like the ones you have, but it will give you a general idea on how to install the part. How to install control panel for oven?
For model number C2S980SEM3SS
Hello Lawrence, Thank you for the question. First shut off the power at the breaker for stove or unplug it from the outlet. Pull range away from wall. Turn off gas feed to the appliance. At the back of the appliance, remove the two hex washer head screw holding the panel in place. Remove the vent and remove the two hex washer head screws retaining the cook top of the appliance. Remove the grates from cook top and remove the 4 torx screws along top front edge of the top. Remove each of the burner heads and remove the 5 white ignition igniters from each burner. They will pull straight up to expose ignition wires. Disconnect ignition wires. Remove the three torx screws holding the bracket for the gas nozzle for each burner. Once all the gas nozzle brackets are free and the ignition wire are to, the top of the range should lifted off. Remove the heat shield from the front of the oven, held in place by 2 hex washer heads. Taking detailed pictures of the wires and connectors to the control board. Pull the wires from the old control board and remove the 4 torx screws retaining the control board and remove the board. Replace the board and reassemble by reversing steps. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call.
