Where does part # w10042120 fit on my Maytag washer? The parts were in the drum. I don't know where they fit. Will washer run without these parts?

Hello Richard, thank you for your question. This part is located underneath the top panel on the left side. It is used to connect the top panel to the cabinet frame. There are two of them on your unit. It would be best to replace them if they are broken or missing. We hope this answers your question.
