What does this part fix? Have a double oven that is black control panel. This morning it made a very long beep. When i looked at it everything was blackened out. Could not read time or temperature. I cut off breaker and cut back on to see if that would fix it. It beeped a long beep but did not fix it. So i know i have electric to the oven. Its about 11 or 12 years old. Could you tell me please what could be wrong with it? Control panel maybe? Thanks very much. Have a good day.

Thank you for your great question. The Membrane Switch is just the touchpad of your appliance. It simply lets you know what buttons activate what. It sounds like the Electronic Control Board might be the problem on your appliance. I hope this helps!
We had a power surge, and my double wall WP oven is not working. Only the oven light is on. Is the control board fried, or is there some thermal protection fuse???

Hello Tim, thank you for your question. We recommend resetting the oven by turning off the breaker for 1-3 minutes. If this does not work it could be your thermal fuse, part number PS11742564. This can be tested with a multimeter. Unplug your oven and remove the thermal fuse. Place one probe on each of the fuses terminals. If you get a reading of 0 the fuse is good, any other reading and it should be replaced. We hope this helps.
For some reason, the off button only won't work on our oven. All other buttons do. Will this part fix that?
