My oven temperature is much lower than shows on the display, like 375 when the display says 425. (Two over thermometers agree on the actual temperature, and I can feel that large a difference.) Is this thermostat what I need to replace or something else? Thank you for your help!
For model number Kitchenaid KSDB900ESS0

Hi Sarah, thank you for asking. We recommend that you check the temperature sensor, part number PS11726314, and the bake element, part number PS11703285, as these are most likely culprits. If you require assistance to place an order, please contact customer service. We hope that helps!

Can this part be expedited, and is this the self cleaning fuse that can go out
PartSelect logo
Hi Jim,Thank you for your question. The stock status for parts is always listed below the Add to Cart button on our site underneath the part information that you will see above the question and answer section. If you are not sure what a stock status means, you can click on it and a separate window will appear with the explanation for what that status means. When you add the part to your cart you will be given our shipping options. Unfortunately I am not entirely sure what you mean by "Self Cleaning Fuse" however this part is a thermostat. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

When oven is first turned on to bake it shows 177, when i enter 350 and hit start it goes back to 177
For model number wos51ec7aw00

Hello Maureen, thank you for writing. This is likely due to a faulty Oven Sensor, part number PS11744233 for your model wall oven. You may also want to consider the Electronic Control, part number PS11703485. You can test the Oven Sensor with a multi-meter. It should read between 900 and 1200 ohms of resistance to be working correctly. Good luck with your repair!

Hello Thomas, Thank you for the question. With no display and the locked door, it sounds like a defective Electronic Control Board, PartSelect Number PS11756043. We hope this helps!

The oven temp seems to run low and takes a long time to heat up. The broiler did not work so I replaced the broiler element. The broiler still does not work. The oven say 550 but the element does not heat. Should I change the oven sensor?

I have a jenn-air oven and there is no heat. We checked the thermostat part select number WP4449751 and it was open not closed. So we assumed that was the problem installed a new one and once we turned on the electricity blew the thermostat - using multimeter nothing registered like the previous one in the stove. What is causing the thermostat to blow?
For model number jjw343ows

Hello Gary, thank you for reaching out. Make sure your oven vent is clean. The thermal fuse would only blow if the cooling fan is not running up to speed to cool the oven, or the control board is causing the oven to get way too hot. If the oven is getting really really hot (much hotter than what you set it for when cooking), then replace the control board, part number PS11752181. If the oven is just randomly causing the fuse to fail but it is not getting too hot, replace the cooling fan, part number PS11751629, on the back of the oven. We hope this helps, good luck with the repair!

The top oven heating will not stop....The temperatures read fine and the oven recognizes (by beeping) that its at temp but it continues to heat....The lower oven works fine with no issues. The temp sensor has been replaced. Control Board?

Hello Mike, thank you for reaching out. We would recommend checking the following parts to fix the issue: thermostat, part number PS11742549, and broil element, part number PS11722938. If still the issue exists, then you may need to replace the upper oven control board, part number PS12348595. We hope this solves your problem!
