Dryer wouldn't heat
I removed the front of the dryer by removing the two screws on the bottom of the front panel, disconnected the door switch wires. I removed the connectors from the coils on the gas valve, the heat sensor and the igniter. Loosened the gas line at the valve. I removed the screw holding the gas valve and burner assembly and removed the assembly from the dryer. Remover the screw holding the burner to the valve, and removed the igniter. Replaced the burned and reconnected what I had removed. The reason the burner didn't light was due to the gas deflectors being burned off of the burner, If the igniter, sensor, and coils check out OK , check the front of the burned to besure it is deflecting gas to the igniter

Flame goes out after 5 seconds.
Tilted dryer back to access the two screws on the front panel, remove front panel, by raising it up 90° and pull the wires off for the door switch, first I remove the one 5/16 self tapping screw That holds the burner assembly onto the bracket, removed the hot surface igniter screw from old burner assembly, attached to new burner assembly, reinstalled burner assembly and also cleaned orifice from gas valve, also while the front cover was off I remove the fan housing cover and vacuumed out all The lint attached to the fan assembly, unit works great again.

My dryers igniter comes on, but shuts off after a minute or two because the Flame was erratic.
For model number LDG 87048 AAE
Hello Mel, thank you for your question. There are a few parts we would recommend testing/checking to determine the issue. M Series New Style Coil Kit Part Number: 279834, Thermostat, Internal-Bias Part Number: WP3387134, Flat Style Igniter Part Number: 4391996, and Radiant Flame Sensor Part Number: WP338906. These are the parts that work together to light the burner and keep it burning. Also check the burner tube itself. We have some testing information and other troubleshooting on our site when you search the individual part numbers. I hope this helps!

The Flame comes on for awhile then goes out . It always come on after i open the door and push start.
For model number DG7600
Hi Maurice,
Thank you for your question. If your dryer shuts off too soon, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the coils, the radiant flame sensor, the high limit thermostat, the door switch kit, the blower wheel and clamp and the belt. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!
