The dehumidifier is running but not collecting water.
For model number ZD300Y0
Hello Danielle and thanks for writing.
It is most likely the switch assembly, if this is defective it tells the unit the bucket is full even if it is not, thus it will not collect any water. The part you are looking for has been discontinued for your model and is no longer available. We have no known replacement information in our system. We recommend you contact the manufacturer of the part to see if they have recently released a new substitute.Good Luck with your repair.

How do I connect it so it drains without using the bucket?

Hello Daniel, thank you for writing. We hope these few steps will assist you. Remove the bucket from the front of the unit. Open the drain cover on the back of the unit. Thread a standard garden hose onto the drain nozzle. Cut the hose to length and lead it to the floor drain. Replace the bucket on the unit. Unscrew and detached front and back panels, and inside framework holding the sheet metal to the body, after removing the sheet metal, unscrew the box enclosing the control board, use needle nose pliers to unhook the sensor module from the board and place the new sensor into the spots where the old sensor was connected (thermostat area, humidity Sensor, bucket switch, and control board). Close up the unit and your good to go.
