Is there a video to change the range cooktop
For model number YKESS907SS03
Hello Claudette, Thank you for your inquiry. At this time we do not have a video to replace this part but we have the following installation instructions for you: Yes, you should be able to replace the cooktop yourself. Before you begin any repair please unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet or turn the circuit breaker off. For this job you should only need a Phillips screw driver. First open the oven door. Using the screw driver, use the Phillips head screw driver to remove screws, one on each side, that hold the cooktop in place. Close the oven door. Lift the cooktop up and slide it to one side in order to release its rear hinge from the mounting bracket. Using the Phillips head screw driver take out the screws on both sides of the cooktop and remove the hinges from the brackets. Install the hinges on the new cooktop. Place the new cooktop assembly hinge into the opening on the side mounting bracket. Slide it into the opposite mounting bracket check to see if it is properly installed and lower the cooktop. Secure the cooktop with the 2 mounting screws and close the oven door. Restore the power to the oven and everything should work now for you. We hope this helps and if you need a part in the future and need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Something Kitchen Aid wont tell you but running a self clean on this model stove blows the fuse located on the back of the stove.
First I slid the stove out and removed the back of the stove held in place by 8 Phillips screws. The thermostat fuse is located near the top middle on the back of the stove. Remove the 2 screws holding it in place. Disconnect the wires, plug in the new part. Put it all back together. Job done in less than 30 minutes.
This repair would have cost $164 through A&E factory service.
