My ice maker is making ice but it won't dispense through the door when we push the ice lever. We've cleared the chute and the motor runs to move the ice but nothing comes out. We taken the whole ice container out to see if something is jamming it and there's nothing that looks out of place. In order to get ice, we have to pull it out and use our hands. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

How to restart icemaker?
For model number MFI2570FEZ07
PartSelect logo
Hi Deb, thank you for the great question. To reset the ice maker, first, make sure the ice maker arm is not stuck. If it is, push it down so it knows to keep working. Otherwise, check for a reset button on the ice maker and hold it down for 10 seconds. You can find the reset button at the bottom of the ice maker. Remove the ice tray to locate it. If that does not work, turn off and unplug the ice maker for up to 15 minutes for a hard reset. If the ice maker does not have a reset button, restart the refrigerator by unplugging it at the mains and then plugging it back in. We hope this helps.

The poorly designed deli drawer lid tab broke off
Removed the fruit & veggie drawers & the deli (pantry) drawer. Took out the 3 screws, removed the attached parts, put them on the replacement part, reattached it and put the drawers back in.

Here's the part I want to share: PartSelect had a expanded diagram showing the correct part and sufficiently detailed to figure out the repair before the part arrived. That's why I ordered from them. Secondly, I ordered the part Thursday morning--and the thing was sitting on my porch when I came back in from my evening out Saturday--2 days later!!!

Dropped a jug and broke the lower drawer hinge pin
Remove food off of lower shelf, remove the two produce drawers, remove large lower drawer, remove glass shelf, remove three screws holding end cap in place. Once end cap was removed the drawer track could be removed and placed on new end cap. Installation of new end cap took less than 5 minutes. Most of the time spent was removing/replacing food and cleaning the shelf/bins. PartSelect was awesome BTW!
