Dryer takes forever to dry, isn't getting hot enough. I replaced the the heating element, thermostat, thermal limiter and control thermistor and it still won't heat. Help.
For model number LEQ2152ES0
Hi Pam,
Thank you for your question. If the dryer is taking too long to dry, check the vent to make sure it is not clogged with lint. If the vent is clogged with lint, then this may prevent the clothes from drying. If it is clogged you will need to clean it out. The vent should be cleaned twice a year. If the vent is clear of any lint, there are some other parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the belt, the blower housing with blower wheel, the lower front felt seal, the upper front felt seal, the control thermistor, the lint filter and the rear drum bearing. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.

Dryer popping breaker on the high heat setting
For model number LEQ2152ES0
Hello Paula, Thank you for the question. At times, if the heating element fails, it will short out against the housing causing the dryer to trip the circuit breaker. If the heating element assembly has continuity to the case, it is shorted out. We hope this helps.
When operated in any heat mode, dryer shuts off consistently after 8-12 minutes of running with all 5 vertical lights on right of control panel blinking rapidly. No hot air but good airflow out of vent exhaust. When dryer is operated in "No Heat" mode, it completes its cycle.
Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi Ken, thank you for contacting us. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest checking the high limit thermostat, part number PS446428, as it is most likely faulty and may need to be replaced. We hope this solves your problem!
1. Unplug dryer from outlet 2. Using Lg. flat screwdriver, pry under the front edge of the top and release two spring tabs 3. Lift up top and tilt back out of your way 4. Unscrew two phillips scews on inside of front panel 5. Lift up and out the front panel. Two spring clips at bottom. 6. Rlease tension on drum belt at the motor. Access panel at rear of dryer. 7.Unscrew 3 screws from inside, center rear of drum. 8. Remove drum through the front of the dryer. You may have to spread the sides apart a little bit for it to fit 9. Lift up on the rear drum bearing to remove it from the bearing retainer. ( U shaped plastic socket) 10. unsrew 2 screws and remove the bearing retainer, ground ball. Ball retainer is on outside of dryer. 11. Vacuum everything--duct, blower, lint trap, ect. 12. Intall new bearing retainer and grounding ball, an assistant is helpful at this time, one to hold ball retainer on rear of dryer, one to screw it in from the inside 13. reassemble remainder of parts in reverse order.
Unplugged Dryer. Opened top of Dryer, over the drum. Removed Thermal Limiter. Tested the Thermal Limiter - found it was open. Checked all vents and exhaust tube for lint build-up. Replaced Thermal Limiter. Closed top of dryer. Plugged Dryer back. Tested Dryer - it works.
