The last oven set will automatically delay its start until the end of the first oven’s clean cycle. When an oven is set to self clean, both the oven doors will lock and the cooktop controls will lock out. The ovens and cooktop cannot be used when an oven is set to self clean. To set the oven for self cleaning, you may need to follow the following steps: 1. Touch the self clean pad. 2. If a time other than the default time is needed, use the number pads and enter the desired clean time. You can change the clean time to any time between 3 hours and 5 hours, depending on how dirty the oven is. 3. Touch the start pad. The oven door locks automatically. The display will show the clean time remaining. It will not be possible to open the oven door until the temperature drops below the lock temperature and locked/door goes off in the control display. The word locked/door will flash and the word door will display if you set the clean cycle and forget to close the oven door. To stop a clean cycle, touch the clear/ off pad.
