How can I disable the dryer buzzer.
For model number GTD40EBMK0WW
hello Sheldon, Thank you for the question. First you need to unplug the dryer from its power source. Remove the screws on the back of the console. Open the console carefully. Locate the buzzer inside the console. It should have 2 wires. Pull one of the wires out of the buzzer and tape the wire ends with electrical tape and replace the console. We hope this helps.

Two-year-old dryer was working fine. Put towels in this evening and no go. Breakers are fine. Should the door switch on this model click when pushed in? Is there an internal heat fuse?
For model number GTD40EBMK0WW
Hello Douglas, Thank you for the question. If the appliance is powering on but will not start to tumble and heat up, it is normally a defective Door Switch. Normally the dryer would not have an auditable click once locked. We hope this helps!
