Hi Sam, Thank you for your question. The filter no longer requires or includes a gasket, but may require a silicone or sealant when installed. When doing this repair, please make sure to disconnect the power from your appliance before starting. 1. Remove the lower dishrack from the appliance by rolling it all the way out. 2. To remove the lower wash arm, lift up on the arm and turn it counter clockwise. This should disconnect the arm from the base. 3. To remove the nut you will turn it counter clockwise to release it. 4. Remove the accumulator/filter by lifting it up out of place. 5. You will then have to disconnect the water tube. There is a little tab at the rim where it connects with the base. Just push that down with the help of a flat head screw driver and that should release the tube from the base. Turn the tube and base toward the left to separate them from each other. 6. Now we are going to take the sump cover off just by squeezing it and lifting it out of place. 7. To remove the sump filter you will need a putty knife and your flat head screwdriver. This part is a little difficult as there are locking tabs on each side of the sump filter and you have to use both your putty knife and screw driver to release them both at the same time. The easiest way to try and do this is by sticking your putty knife through the gap at the top of the sump filter between the filter and the course filter. Push it down until it touches the bottom of the dishwasher. Then, lifting the course filter from the front, use your screw driver to reach in and depress the locking tabs on the other side of the sump filter. 8. Once you have the sump filter out, then remove the rest of the base by unscrewing it counter clockwise. Then you should simply be able to lift out your course filter and change it out for the new one. Follow these steps backwards to reinstall your parts. We hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

My wheels would not stay on the roller rack which made me dread having to put a dish in the rack.
All I had to do is take out the rack, pop off the old wheels, place the new stud rollers on, then pop on the new wheels. So easy and now my dishes don't get chipped when I pull the rack out and push it back in. I wish I didn't wait so long to order new parts.

Lower rack began rusting and wheels broke off.
Pull old rack out, slip new one in!
One thing i did was order wheels and studs as i was unaware they lower rack came fully equiped with all wheels, studs, and flip up dish dividers. So if your replacing the rack no need to order the wheels! The diagram made it look as if you only et the wire rack and not all the added pieces.
