Hi Jeff,
Thank you for your question. if you have replaced the other parts and the washer is sill not starting, the issue is likely the door lock and switch assembly. To verify if the door lock is causing the issue, Disconnect your appliance from the power source before beginning, and then remove the top panel or cabinet to access the switch. Once you have located the door lock, verify that it is being activated mechanically and that any levers or actuators are not damaged or sticking, then the lock may be defective. If the lock is being activated but there is no power being supplied to the motor or water valve circuits, remove the lock from the washer to check it for continuity. With your multi-meter on the Rx1 setting, touch the probes to the terminals, then press and hold the lock button down. You should receive a reading of zero. If you do not receive this reading, you will need a replacement door lock. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.
DOES THIS MODEL HAVE A CLEANING FILTER, SERVING THE SAME FUNCTION AS A LINT CATCHER ON A DRYER?

Hello Kenneth, thank you for your question. There is a Pump Filter PS3655061 that sits inside the Tub-To-Pump Hose PS418742. The pump filter is supposed to sit down inside the bellow part of tub-to-pump rubber drain hose at approximately the second rib of the bellow. We also have a video for your view for installation information. We hope to hear from you soon.

My tenant has described the problem as a slow steady stream from bottom left when machine is filling or draining only
For model number FTF530FS0
Hello Nadine, thank you for your question. We would recommend removing the bottom panel and checking the tub to pump hose and the drain pump itself. It is likely a hose has come loose or has cracked. I hope this helps.

This was one of the simpliest repairs I have ever done taking less than 5 minutes to complete. On the inner door I removed the two screws that hold the plastic catch in place. I then removed the broken catch and put the new catch in place. Finally I replaced the two screws that hold the catch in place and it was done.
1. Unplug unit. 2. Unscrew 2 nuts holding top in place in rear of unit using phillips head screwdriver. 3.Slide top back and remove. 4. Open door of washer and unscrew 2 screws holding in door lock unit. 5.Pull out unit from the top and install new unit reconnecting the 3 wire connections.
removed 2 screws and removed top access cover. removed 2 screws and removed front access cover. removed 4 retaining pins (one with nammer and punch because it was stuck) connected lower ends of new shocks with plastic pins, extended each shock to slip fit and connected upper ends to wash tub mounts. Reinstalled panels. I wish I could say that it all went well from there but......when the shocks broke, apparently the hit the motor took was enough to cause an electronic failure of the speed cycle control chip. Now Im waiting for that part.
