For model number FPRU19F8RFF
Hello Gene, thank you for reaching out to PartSelect. After replacing the air filter, reset the air filter timer by pressing the AIR FILTER key for 3 seconds. The “REPLACE AIR FILTER” LED will be illuminated green for 3 seconds, confirming a timer reset. If the issue persists, you will need to replace the user control and display board, part number PS12705248. Good luck with your repair!

For model number FPRU19F8RFF

My Fridge runs constantly and become too cold, I've replaced the thermistor and the defrost thermostat, but nothing works, He continues to run and never stop.
Can you help me with that ?
For model number FPRU19F8RFF
Hi Dave, thank you for reaching out. As you have already replaced the thermistor and defrost thermostat, you may need to check the door gasket and air filter. If these are fine, then we would recommend checking the compressor start relay, part number PS11757755, to fix the issue. It attaches to the compressor and helps start the compressor motor. We hope this will resolve your problem!
Turned freezer off at themostat and unplugged freezer. Removed 2 screws at front 2 at the back and 2 at the top. Lowered top cover and removed evaporator fan bracket (2 more screws) removed themostat capulary tube( 1 screw and bracket) then unplug fan motor. Removed motor from bracket (2 screws). Put on new fan motor then removed fan blade from old motor and put on the new motor. Remounted fan motor bracket and thermostat capulary tube. Remounted top cover, plugged freezer in the set the thermostat to 4 and freezer is working fine and doing its job. I orderedmotor on a Sunday and it was shipped on Monday and I received said part at 7:pm on Wednesday.
took the cover off (cardbord) the fan will come off and go back on by hand no tools needed i changed the fan motor just to be sure. 3 little screws hold it on. the plug only goes on one way u can't mess it up.very easy job u shouldn't have any problems doing it.Jim
