Hi Glenn, thank you for contacting us. This issue might be caused by a faulty door switch. We would suggest checking all three door switches to make sure they are seated properly and checking the continuity with a Multimeter to identify which switch is causing the issue. The part number for the top and bottom switch is PS12071303, whereas the middle switch is part number PS12071302. We hope this information helps!

Hello Kamala, thank you for your question. The issue could be with the fuse PartSelect Number: PS12071294 and diode PartSelect Number: PS12071314. Those are the two parts we would recommend testing first. If those parts are ok, the issue could be with the door switches or the main board. We would recommend testing those parts next. I hope this helps.

Hi Clifford, Thank you for your question. If your microwave is tripping the breaker, it may share the same circuit with some of the other appliances in your kitchen. Plug it into a different electrical outlet and see if the breaker trips. If it does not, then you know it was sharing the circuit with another appliance. If it does, then there is a part inside the microwave that is malfunctioning and causing the breaker to trip. You will need to check the magnetron, the diode, the fuse, and the door switches. For safety reasons, since the microwave capacitor can still store electricity even when the microwave is unplugged, it is usually advised that you discharge the capacitor before any attempt at repair. We have included a link on how to do so, https://www.partselect.com/Microwave+discharge-capacitor+repair.htm. You will also find information on how to test these parts under Free Repair Help and Instant Repairman on our website. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!

The chrome is peeling off and cut my wife's hand. I have removed the handle but cannot find a way to replace it.

Hi Claude, Thank you for your question. To remove the old handle, please unplug the microwave from the electrical outlet. There are retaining clips all around the front outer frame of your door that hold the back trim in place. Open the door and use a putty knife to pry the trim off the back of the door. Once the trim has been removed, you will have access to the screws securing the handle on the door. Unthread the screws and remove the old handle. Follow the steps in reverse to install the new handle and snap the back trim into place. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!

Microwave tripped circuit breaker when turned on
Remove vent cover then remove touch screen control panel. When you remove control panel take photo of where everything is plugged in then unplug and remove control panel. 3 door switches located next to door in a plastic chassis. Test each switch with current tester. Remove the bad switch and replace with the new one. You tube DIY helped.

Power would not come on, would trip breaker when connected.
First thing I dir was search YouTube for any related videos and found this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHj4H9Fdxrc, it was the exact problem my microwave was exhibiting. Once I verified the problem by troubleshooting, I removed the part and verified that the switches were working fine, the door latch assembly showed signs of wear which was the cause of the problem. After receiving the replacement part I installed it, verified that power was restored to the unit and reassembled the microwave, works fine, hope it lasts a long time!

Thermostat bad....but couldn't fix it
My grandfather who is well versed as an electrician checked my microwave out because it wasn't worked. He used a multimeter to check electric current to parts in the microwave. He said a specific thermostat was not getting any current going through. I ordered that replacement part from this site and when it came in it didn't have current running through it either. He said he thought the part that was given to me was faulty. I called this companies number to ask some questions but the machine said they aren't taking any inquiry calls because of the pandemic right now. So I currently don't know what the problem is with my microwave. I want to return the part but unfortunately during Christmas time the packaging got thrown away. So as of right now I'm out the part money and probably money to buy a new appliance.
