Dishwasher was growing mold on inside lid door. Also the glasses were not looking clean. Appeared as if they were not getting rinsed well enough.
First I removed the two screws that hold the lower front cover of the dishwasher to get under the dishwasher. Then I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. I then opened the dishwasher door and removed the old element and replaced it with the new element. I closed the dishwasher door and reconnected the two wires making sure that I put the proper wire on the proper post. I then put the two screws back on the element to hold it in place Next I replaed the cover on the front and tested the dishwasher for heat by running it empty.

Upper rack not being cleaned
This was pretty easy. It was a guess as to the problem, but there much debate , if the water isn't moving it had to be the pump, right?. So i replaced the circulation pump. 2 screws on the top and two trim screws on the bottom, and it slides right out. Then UNPLUG IT.. Take the screen out of the bottom on the inside and make sure you get all the water out or it will end up on the floor when you tip it on it's side. The directions were ok, i looked over them briefly but didn't use them. tools were, phillips srewdriver, torx driver (pump bracket srews) wire stripper/crimper (for the plug adaptor) and a heat gun, (for the heat shrink tube for the crimp connection). Overall it was pretty easy. the pump was made to be easy to replace. 45 min and back in action.

Broke nubs off of stem when cleaning
I took the bottom parts out. This can basically be done without tools. You need a phillips to unscrew 3 screws to remove the stem. Then easily replace with the new one. Putting the spiny washing part was kinda weird because I was afraid to break the nubs off again. I took the whole bottom carriage out so I could see better, pushed down kinda hard and twisted the right way (figure out which way needs to be twisted before hand by looking through the bottom of the stem).

The small "nubs" on the assembly had worn off.
After several years of use and cleaning the small "nubs" that held the locking peice on the assembly under the jet arm had worn off. This allowed the whole thing to spin and the dishes weren't getting clean. Finding the part on the site was easy, it arrived amazingly fast and all is up and working great. I have used Parts Select 2 or 3 times in the past and have always had the same great results. Saved me a bunch in repair bills. Thanks

bottom spinner wouldn't stay on
VERY simple---unscrewed three screws on the broken part (the little nubs that held on the bottom spinner were broken off), screwed the new one back in, re-attached the spinner.

I was VERY pleased with the customer service and quick shipping (ordered on Sunday night, the part was delivered Wednesday morning). I would definitely recommend this site to anyone, and would use it again. Five Stars!!!!

PARTS ORDER TOOK TOO LONG TO ARRIVE
The repair was not the problem. The problem was getting the parts I ordered. When the parts finally shipped I had to wait for them because they just sat in a FedEx shipping warehouse for about a week delaying the repair.

Bottom Spray Arm Did not Turn
The bottom spray arm would not turn or fall off the stem assembly, so the dishes would not come clean like usual. The spray arm connects to the stem assembly via two plastic prongs that secure the spray arm. I removed the spray arm from the socket (no tool required) and observed the prongs had worn completely away. I grabbed the power screw driver and removed the assembly (3 screws). I placed the new assembly in place, secured the screws, and attached the spray arm. Finished.

Hello Robbin, Thank you for your inquiry. Researching the model number you have provided, we would recommend checking the following parts: the drain pump, the drain hose and the drain filter. Check the hose and filter for any debris or restrictions and clean if needed, and you can test the pump with a multimeter. Good luck with your repair.
