Wave guide cover was cracked. Oven started to spark and make popping noises when in use.
Part arrived in one day. Old part snapped right out and new snapped right in. One minute repair with no more sparking and no need to invest in a new microwave... which is what I thought I was going to have to do.

What is the orientation of the waveguard cover-ie are notches on top or bottom, towards front or back of microwave?

Hello Mike, thank you for contacting us. Looking at the image on our site, on the right side there is little cut out of the cover, that will be facing the door and it is the same way up as in the photo. Good luck with the repair!

The little silver plate covering the opening inside the microwave has crumbled, how can I get a replacement? Is it dangerous to use it without it?
