Hi Mary, Thank you for your inquiry. There is some information from our website that you may find helpful. It was from a customer comment, "Do not remove the gas line. Take off the burner racks and burner covers Gently extract/remove the ignitors from each burner. You may have to use pliers, but be careful. They are ceramic. Once you pull out the ignitors, you can remove the ignitors from their wires using plyers, you may have to twist them a little. To take off the top - use Star screw drivers to remove the burners Remove all the burners. The star screws, and the burners are the only thing holding the top on. Take off the steel top. That exposes the ignitor switch assembly. Make sure you follow the positioning diagram that comes with the new part. Thats it really. I removed the gas, because I thought I had to, but you don't need to. You can do the whole job in 30 minutes if you are careful." I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

There is no assembly for your unit, but the following harnesses are available: Switch Harness PS12702961 Ground harness PS11773746 Electrodes harness PS11762469 You should check the wiring for possible burn marks . Unfortunately that part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and the manufacturer has not provided an authorized substitute.The only other thing that I could think of would be to contact your manufacturer and see if they have another part from a different model that will work with yours. Hello Douglas, thank you for your question. That sounds like an issue with the spark module, which is part number PS952864. We would recommend replacing the module, and if that doesn't fix the issue the spark switch harness should be replaced. I hope this helps.

Hi Julie, Thank you for contacting us. If your burners were clicking constantly before replacing the spark igniter switch and harness assembly, the burner caps may have been out of alignment. If the caps are out of alignment reposition them correctly. Constant clicking may also indicate that there is moisture in the burners. If you have cleaned the stovetop recently or if water was spilled on the stovetop, then the burners will click. In this situation, you will need to let the burners dry out for awhile before using them. If you have an oven, you can turn it on and let the heat from the oven dry the surface burners. If 3 of your burners are not clicking after replacing the switch harness, make sure that you have the correct burner caps on the right burners. Make sure the correct burner is selected and match the burner to the correct switch. Check and see if there is power going to the range or cooktop at the plug or home's circuit breaker or fuse box. When turning a burner on, first verify that the burner knob is set to the lite position. Once you see the flame then turn your knob to the setting you want. If this does not help, you may have a defective spark igniter switch and harness assembly. Try the old one again to see it will work. If not, you will need to replace it. We hope this helps!
