Where does this part install on a refrigerator? It came with no instructions
For model number 5303918301
Hello Richard, Thank you for the question. You will need to unplug the refrigerator. Next remove four screws holding the control box to the cabinet. Unplug the connector cable and remove the two screws holding the defrost timer to the control. Pull back the defrost timer and bend the heater into a U shape. Peel off the paper backing from the heater. Align the heater holes with the defrost timer mounting pegs. Place the heater against the control box and press down over entire surface of the heater. Set defrost timer back into position and screw in place. Unplug the two wire leads from the cold control. Plug the orange wire lead into the orange lead and reconnect to the cold control. Plug the black lead to the black lead and reconnect to the cold control. reconnect the connector and reinstall the control box. Plug the refrigerator back into the outlet. Make sure the refrigerator is working properly. The kit is designed to operate with the freezer and fresh food compartments set to the mid-way position. It may be necessary to adjust the refrigerator to achieve desired temperatures. We hope this helps!

Refrigerator didn’t work in the garage in the cold winter weather.
I followed the detailed instructions included and made it easy. Took about 15 minutes and would of been quicker if I had the right tools the first time. Just had to take the cover off where the control panel is and put in the heater and replace the cover. Works fine.
