Part arrived in a couple of days - identical to the original. Would have given 5 stars, but was pretty pricey. Would definitely use Part Srlect again.

Easy repair, worked as expected
The old pump came out and the new one went in. I had to get some plumbing tape for the threaded connection to the hose. Repair done in 20 minutes.

The valve allowed water to fill the dishwasher when not in use.
This was the third time I replaced a fill valve in a Bosch diswasher, twice in this unit and once in a previous unit. I read the installation hints on your web site and want to add the following suggestion.
The notes on your web site say you can remove the valve from behind the toe face and pull it out to reach the hose and plug. I found that the Bosch designers called for both the hose and wire to on the short side. I found that pulling the dishwasher forward 6" to 9" allows you to access these connections from the side at least to hold them while making the connection. I hope this helps. Thank you, Bill

No water in machine, can not wash dishes.
Turn off water, disconnect power cord, remove front kickplate. Remove 2 screws that hold the water inlet valve, pull it out, disconnect electrical connection, disconnect water supply.. Check the inlet valve with volt-ohm meter for continuity. If it is good, then the valve is stuck shut. The ohm reading should be in the 900-1100 range. Replace valve, installation is the reverse.

Do we just screw the part out and screw the replacement part in its place? Where do we find this part in the machine? Our dishes do not clean properly.
For model number SHE3AR52UC/07
Hello Rosemary,
Thanks for your question. Turn off your water supply valve and the power to the dishwasher prior to any of these steps. Remove the screws to release the lower access panel. Remove the access panel (it is sharp, be careful). Open the dishwasher door and remove the screws securing the outer door panel. Close the door and pull the panel down to remove it. Disconnect the water line from the inlet valve, and be ready for some water to spill out. Remove the brass elbow from the inlet valve. Uninstall the mounting screws to let the old valve go. Disconnect the wiring and use pliers to remove the clamps securing the fill tube, then pull it off the valve. Install the new valve by connecting the tube and securing the clamp, then reversing the above procedures.
I hope this helps.

Bottom of dishwasher fills up slowly when not in use. Will this part fix that problem?
For model number shx33rl5uc
Hi Keith,
Thank you for your question. If there is water coming into the dishwasher when it is not in use, then the issue is likely the drain hose. If it is laying flat, then water will seep back into the dishwasher. Use a twist tie and attach it to a hook so it is up higher and does not allow water to flow back into the dishwasher. If it is fresh water that is leaking into the dishwasher, then the issue is the water inlet valve and you will need to replace it as a component in the water inlet valve has failed. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Water does not come on when door is closed. I tried pouring in hot water and then shut the door. Drain pump came on and then machine ran. At the end of the cycle, it was clear that there wasn't any water to rinse the dishes. Is the fill valve the culprit? Thank you
For model number SHE68R55UC/63
Hello Glenn, thank you for inquiring. Yes, replacing this Access Valve for your model will likely fix the problem. You may also want to consider the Float Switch part number PS8697040 for your model. Good luck with your repair!

Turns on before shutting door drain comes on
For model number she43rl5uc/64
Hello Sully, thank you for your question. It sounds like your unit is in "Flood Mode". There is a sealed pan on this model with a small sensor that checks for water in the pan. If water gets in the pan it sends the unit into a default drain mode. The drain pan should be dried out. You would then need to determine where the water is leaking from. Check all inlet, and drain hoses, clamps and connectors. If you don't find any water in the pan, then the main electronic control board probably has a short in it and would need to be replaced. I hope this helps!

Hello Ron, Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend checking the micro filter and the drain pump. You can test the drain pump with a multimeter. Good luck with your repair.

Bosch dishwasher is not dissolving finish tablet nor cleaning the dishes well, esp. On top rack. Spray wands are clear. Water flow at shutoff valve is strong and dishwasher is draining and running fully otherwise. Drain filters are clear. I cleaned the water inlet valve of debris w/ compressed air, but should i still replace it? Dw is 2012 manufactured.
For model number SHX3AR55UC/07
Hello John, Thank you for the question. I would first check to see if the hot water temperature is above 120F. If the water is not hot enough the tablets will not dissolve and the dishes will not come clean. You may have an issue with the Heat Pump, PartSelect Number: PS8736200. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
