No power to the existing control panel. Breaker okay, power to the unit okay. Switch inside door latch has been replaced. What is the likelihood that the original control panel is the source of the problem?

Hi Conrad, Thank you for the question. If you have power going to the appliance but the panel will not power on, I suggest replacing the Control Assembly. Hope this helps!

Normal wash cycle never ends, 5hrs and dishwasher is still running. Which control panel controls the time?
For model number LFBD2409LFOB
PartSelect logo
Hi Bill, Thank you for your inquiry. If you dishwasher is not turning off after a cycle is complete, then your dishwasher could be stuck in flood mode. What that means is that water has worked it's way down into the base pan below the dishwasher tub causing the unit to do nothing but drain. This is normally caused by the drain being clogged or too many suds in the tub causing the tub to overflow a bit. You will need to uninstall the dishwasher and then tip it forward at a 45 degree angle to drain the water out of the base pan. Once you have done this and reinstalled the dishwasher pour a gallon of water in the dishwasher and see if it drains out and does not wash or refill. If it does you still have water left in the base pan. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My dishwasher no longer starts right away and is still has water in the bottom of the unit at the end of the cycle. Does this have something to do with the timer?
For model number FFBD2411NB0A
PartSelect logo
Hi James, Thank you for your question. If your dishwasher does not start right away, you may have pressed the delayed start button. The dishwasher can be delayed for 2, 4 or 6 hours. If you did not press the delayed start button, you will need to check the control assembly and the door latch with switches. It is normal for a small amount of water to remain in the bottom of the dishwater. This keeps the seals and gaskets lubricated. Usually, about 1 cup of water. If it is more than that, you will need to check the drain pump to see if it is clogged or damaged. We hope this helps with the repair!
