Once the oven was moved out of it's alcove, it took about 2 minutes to replace the socket
Fit just as your installation video showed. Piece of cake! Part arrived the day after I ordered it.

Oven Light Socket - With Push In Receptacle
My first order was received damaged as it was shipped in a bubble envelope. I did not receive a full credit from PartSelect. I was credited for the part, but not the shipping!! I spoke with Customer Service and asked for a replacement part to be shipped in a box to avoid damage, which I was charged again, however was also shipped in a bubble envelope, however un-damaged. Easy installation, once installed, part worked well.

Is there a fuse or other device that prevents the range from functioning?
For model number JBP79TD1WW

Hello John, Thank you for the question. Checking the modal it is not showing a fuse that is available. If the Cook Top Elements and the Oven is not operating you may have an issue with the Wiring, Power Cord, Terminal Block or the Outlet in the wall. We hope this helps!
