I can get the freezer door's light switch loose from the panel but there appears to be insufficient wiring slack to enable me to pull the switch out of the hole. Should I disassemble the control panel to remove the switch?
For model number FRS20ZRGW6
Hi Barry,
Thank you for the question! If you take a small flat head screw driver and pry the switch from the hole enough to use the head of the screw driver to push down on the clips that hold it in place, you should be able to pull the switch from the hole no problem and disconnect the plug. Perhaps the wires are snagged? If this is the case you may have to disassemble the control panel to get to the back to disconnect the wire this way.
Hope this helps!
