Refrigerator Door Shelf Retainer Bin Specifications
The manufacturer-approved Refrigerator Door Shelf Retainer Bar, sometimes known as the door rack or bar retainer, is a white, plastic part which can be easily installed onto your fridge door. Just snap the old part up and out of place, and push to snap the new part in its place. This part holds items in your fridge like jars and bottles and will show physical damage if broken, at which time it should be replaced. I simply snapped the proper pieces in place. It was sooo easy!
It was so easy! I just slipped the shelving units in to the groove of the refrigerator, and it took approximately 2 minutes. I am so glad that I came across this company, because for the last 3 years I have tried to fix the shelving.

Former tenants had broken glass bin cover and door shelf retainer. Online parts catalog was easy to use, pictures accurate, correct parts received promptly, fit is perfect. Price was couple bucks less than others. Thanks for saving us the cost of a new frig.
Remove the broken piece by tilting upward and then sliding straight out. Simply replace with the new door shelf by aligning the small hooks with the slots on the door. Tilt the shelf up, insert the hooks into the slots and then tilt the shelf back down to its normal postion. It is now locked in place and you are done!

Do I need tools or anything to fix this? The grandkids snapped the middle shelf bar off and im going to attempt to fix it on my own.

I can not get my fridge door to close. Plz help.
Hi Diala, we recommend inspecting the hinges to see if any of them are damaged and preventing the door from closing. If you cannot get a good enough look, you may need to remove the door from the fridge. The second thing to inspect would be your door seal, if it is loose and caught on something it could be preventing your door from closing as well. My fridge model number (970 651426) does not come up in your part finder but i believe that 970 means that it is a Frigidaire unit. It is an old model. The broken shelf is about 24 5/8" overall and about 23" at the attachment slots. Will this part replace it
