Aged parts broken
After sitting in a cold refrigerator for year after year, plastic becomes brittle and breaks. This is what started happening to my shelves and door bins. The problem a lot of times is getting the right part since some of the parts do not have numbers.
This website gives a accurate description and best of all photos on an inch grid, so I can measure what I have and find what I need. This time everything was perfect and fit easily. took no time and just like that I have almost double the space again. Funny how that works. Once before I didn't get the right piece so just pay attention to the dimensions.

had broken sheves on the doors and the crisper drawers weren't suported
The only difficult aspect of the job was getting the old shelf support stud removed from the refrigerator wall - the support was broken off too short to allow vise grips to hold it. I had to use two screwdrivers to get under and then pop out the stud to the point I could get the pliers to hold. Everything eles pretty much just "fell together" very easily.

We had the bins the next day. I had called some other companies and they wanted twice your price! You were much more curteous on the phone, much more professional and quicker and cheaper! I will tell everyone in Florida who to call if they need a part!

Old refrigerator shelves broke.
Replaced with new parts... they just pop right in. Cheap plastic used by manufacturer gets brittle with exposure to low temperatures and over a mere 5 years all break off. Very annoying.

I need to replace 2 door shelves that match #4 on the diagram for this model but my shelf measures 5 1/2 high, 4 1/16 deep, and 14 inches wide. These measurements are different and i'm worried it won't fit the door. The width is probably the biggest problem. Any suggestions?

My door bin keeps cracking prematurely is there something wrong with it?
Hi Wendy, that’s a great question! Unfortunately, a cold refrigerator can break down plastic, and make it fragile. The most common reasons your bin is cracking would be very low temperatures in your unit, or the bin being overstocked.
