The water for my dispenser was flowing slower and slower over a 6 month period and finally stopped running and making ice. I just purchased the water inlet valve and i am starting to question if that is actually the issue. I think that the valve would be the solution if the water stopped completely one day. Not gradually just stopped. What do you think?

Hi Paul,
Thank you for your question. You can actually test your water inlet valve with a multi meter to double check if both solenoids are working correctly on it. It sounds like to me that it may be more of a filter issue for you though. You may just have to replace your water filter. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
