Vent Grille tabs snapped off
Repair was easy but you have to remove the screw at the top of the microwave (top left) in order to secure the far left tab with the hole in the tab. Place the grille in place, push to the left and then secure the screw you removed. Just remember that the mounted screw will need to be removed the next time you need access in order to replace the charcoal filter.

Vent grill would not stay in place causing door to remain open
Inserted plastic lugs in place, slid to right and it fit perfectly!!!
Item made of plastic that brakes easily. So I need to replace it because it got loose
Simple remove one screw, remove the little broken plastic and then replace the entire filter cover with the new one and tighten the one screw on the top.

My vent grille, part MDX619127, just spontaneously fell off of my LG over the range microwave. How do you get it to stay back on? There are no screws, and no broken tabs that I can see. It fell off when I opened the door. I guess since it's off, I will replace the charcoal filter too. Thank you.

Open the microwave door. 2. Slide in the vent grille from the left side to the right. It will snap into place. 3. Now thread the 2 screws in the grille, one to the top-left and one to the top-right side. 4. Close the door. The charcoal filter compatible with your model is part number PS3527523.
