Dryer not heating
I followed video instruction in disassembling and set screws from each section into diferent small bowls in the order they were removed. Hardest part was some of the screws were really hard to get loose without stripping them and my control panel did not match video but I figured it out. Replacing the parts were easy and putting it back together. While it was apart I cleaned everything including fan blower wheel. Thanks for the right parts and your online video. With your help and a prayer this 62 year old woman fixed the problem and dryer runs like new.

I have replaced both the thermostat and the thermistor that i purchased from you, yet i still have no heat. The dryer runs properly otherwise but does not heat up. Any help would be greatly appreciated
For model number DLEX2501V
Hello Jake, thank you for your question. I would recommend testing/replacing the THERMOSTAT
Part Number: 6931EL3002M and Thermostat Assembly Part Number: 6931EL3001F next. When a dryer doesn't heat, the most common issue is one or more thermostats. You can test these thermostats before ordering by using a multimeter, and checking for continuity. I hope this helps!

In the diagram of the dryer the part f130 and f140 are not the same off course, but they do more or less the same work
For model number DLE5955W
Hello Arley, Thank you for your inquiry. One part 6931EL3003D is a high limit thermal fuse which acts like a safety device to prevent the dryer from overheating by telling the thermostat to shut off when it reaches a certain temperature and the other part 6931EL3001F is the thermostat which actually regulates the temperature. Hope this helps!

Will the thermostat assembly make the dryer not to power on if the thermal fuse is good? If so, is it likely for this to happen?
For model number DLE2301R
Hello Billie Jean,
Thanks for your question. We would advise testing the door switch and belt switch for continuity and replacing them if they show no continuity. Check the belt to see if it is intact and remove it from the blower motor, which you should check for obstructions. If all of the above parts are intact, consider replacing the drive motor or the control board.
I hope this helps.

I have replaced all 3 parts that you have recommended in my LG dlex2501v dryer that is not producing any heat, the thermistor, the thermostat, and the thermostat assembly. Still no heat. Anything else? I haven't tried replacing the thermal fuse since your website indicates the dryer won't start if that needs replaced.

I understood that this contains a thermistor, thermostat, and high-limit thermostat. We received a thermistor and two thermostats. Our old high limit thermostat has 3 wires, but both new thermostats only have 2 tabs. Is this the wrong part for our dryer?
For model number DLE2301W
Hello Carley, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the high limit thermostat and thermistor kit, part number PS16878105, will fit your model. It includes the two blower thermostats. With the high limit thermostat, part number PS3530482 attaches three wires in your model. Glad to be of assistance!
I replaced this part in our dryer, and it worked for two weeks. It has suddenly stopped heating again. Before I take it all apart and re-test all the parts, any ideas on what this could be?
For model number DLE2301W
Hi Carley, thank you for reaching out. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest you replacing the heating element assembly, part number PS3527791, to fix the issue. The repeated blowing of the thermostat is caused by a faulty heating element. Good luck with your repair!
