Product Description
Microwave Motor Ac Synchronous Specifications
If the turntable on your microwave does not rotate, or you can hear a grinding noise, the problem may be with the motor. The motor is typically located below the floor of the oven, and is accessed through the bottom. The motor is normally held in place with a retaining screw and will have two wires attached to it as well. If the motor is making a grinding noise it will need to be replaced. If the motor does not turn, you can check for voltage or continuity with a multi-meter. Make sure the power is disconnected from your microwave before beginning this repair.

Perfect fit
Very easy to fit once the lower part of the microwave was down. Hard part was cleaning the oil and grease from the fan unit, then holding it up to put the right screws back in. Does not need an electrician, but does need two people to do the job.

microwave turn table not working
Removed the phillips screws from the base.
Using a # 10 secure driver, remove the motor. (I recommend obtaining a secure star driver set to be sure you have the right size)
Replace the spacer, which is a separate part from the motor.
Reinstall the spacer and motor.
Reinstall the bottom panel.
Enjoy!
