I replaced the sensor and it still gives me code le is it possible i got a bad sensor
For model number WM1832CW
Hi Andrew, Thank you for your question. An LE error code on the washer's display indicates that the motor is locked, more than likely because of a heavy wash load. Heavy sized loads will put a strain on the motor, causing the LE code to occur. You can reset your appliance. Make sure to cut the power to your appliance. Then press the Start/Cancel button for about 5 seconds. When you bring power back to your appliance it should be working again. If it is not, you may need to get your motor or electronic board checked out. Good luck with your repair.

I have an issue with my LG washer, the washer will wash but when it gets to a spin cycle it doesn't spin and the water doesn't drain. I don't want to think that the motor needs to be replace but unsure on what the issue can be
For model number WT1001CW
Hi Midley, Thank you for your question. If the washer is not draining or spinning then you will need to check the sensor assembly. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Hello Steve, thank you for your question. We would recommend testing or replacing the position sensor assembly. This is a replacement sensor assembly for your washer. It may also be known as a motor rotor position sensor. The sensor assembly monitors the direction and speed of the spinning rotor and communicates this information to the electronic control board. Washer gots into le error during it's cycle, technician replaced part k351 and problem still persists
For model number WM2250CW
Hi Edwin, Thank you for your question. According to the LG website, "An LE error code on the washer's display indicates that the motor is locked, possibly due to a heavy wash load. Large and heavy sized loads will put a strain on the motor, causing the LE code to occur. Performing a reset on the washer will normally resolve this error with a reduced load size." Here are the steps they advise to resolve the issue, " Press Power to turn the washer off. Unplug the washer from the power outlet or turn the circuit breaker to the unit off. With the power disabled, press and hold the Start/Pause button for 5 seconds. Plug the washer back in, or turn the circuit breaker back on." They advise if you require further information on how to reset your washer to refer to your owner's manual. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

The washer is continuously unbalanced. It is level. I tried to use the clean tub mode today and it was unbalanced the whole time, even when there was nothing in the tub. Thank you.
For model number WT507OCW
Hi Dana, Thank you for your question. If something is caught below the tub or between the agitator and the inner tub then you washer will be unbalanced with every load of clothes that you do. For example, if a penny, a button or an article of clothing gets caught is this area, then the washer will be unbalanced. You will need to remove the agitator and remove any debris that you find to correct this issue. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My motor make knocking sound when speaning time there is no code in display some time works fine. Why? Please reply me. I already replaced rotor positioning parts.
For model number WM2501HVA
Hi Jayesh, thank you for your question. There are a few parts that you could check for this issue. You should take a look at your bearings, your spider arm, and your shock absorbers. If those parts are fine then you may want to go on to checking both your motor and your drain pump. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

I washed a load and got an oe code. I cleaned the pump filter and started a new cycle. Washer seemed to start cycle fine but when i checked it later the oe code was back on. I removed the pump, cleaned it, checked the ohms and put it all back together. Tried to run another cycle but now the tub doesn't start to spin and we hear a hum but no water comes into drum(water inlet valves are less than a year old). Same oe error. Tried to shut breaker off, hold start button5sec and turn power back on. Still no luck. Also the panel doesn't light up when we free spin the tub?
For model number Wm2101hw
Hello Rene, thank you for inquiring. The OE error code indicates that the machine is not able to drain the water. If the Drain Hose is not kinked or the Drain Pump Filter is not clogged, then you will want to replace the Drain Pump and Motor Assembly part number PS3579318 for your model. Good luck with your repair!

Washing machine fills does not stop filling with water, water stops when the machine is off. To me this indicates a water level sensor problem or the input on the control board for the sensor. While trying to locate the level sensor the only item i can find is k351, sensor assembly. Is this the correct item for a water level sensor?
For model number LG WM2101H*
Hello Fred, Thank you for your inquiry. This part is actually the motor rotor position sensor and monitors the rotor. The part in your machine that measures the water level is the water level pressure switch part# 6601ER1006G. You should also check your water inlet valve as well. Hope this helps!

Our washer keeps giving us the oe code and will not drain. Do we need a new pump or sensor?
For model number wt5101hv
Hi Crystal, Thank you for the question. The OE error indicates that the washer is not able to drain the water during the wash cycle. It can be triggered by a kinked or clog in the drain hose or the drain pump filter. I suggest taking a look at the hose and pump filter to see if something is clogged. Hope this helps!

My LG top load washer stops between wash cycles. 1. It stops after the wash cycle then stuck at the beginning of the rinse cycle. When that happens the main power switch and the start/pause switch are inoperative. No error code on the display. I can advance the wash cycle (sometimes) by unplugging the power cord from the power outlet. 2. If i successfully advance to the rinse cycle then stuck at the beginning of the spin cycle. What is the likely cause of this problem?
For model number WT4801CW
Hi Ken, Thank you for your inquiry. The majority of the time it is the sensor assembly that causes the issue. The part number for it is PS3529186. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

LE Error Message and won't spin drum properly
I first tested the motor per the service manual. I checked the resistance between the terminals of the 3 pin connector. It's supposed to be 5-15 ohms. The motor checked out so I replaced the main electrical board. It turns out that wasn't the problem. After a brief web search I found out that the hall sensor (which is attached to the motor stator) was the likely cause of the failure. I replaced that and everything works great now. And now I have a spare main board in case that ever fails. I also want to mention that I took the time to remove the dispenser box (where the water comes in and is directed to the different cleaning products) and cleaned it with a very strong bleach solution. It got rid of the mildew and funky smell. It seems that the fabric softener caused a lot of mildew to form inside the dispenser directly above the fabric softener tray. The bleach took care of that. This is probably something that should be done routinely to keep the mildew from forming.

    LE fail code
Removed back of washer with screw driver, Removed outer motor cover with a 17 mm socket (1 bolt), Removed motor stater using 10 mm socket (8 bolts). Left motor plugged in and and tipped to the side exposing the sensor. Unplug and snap off sensor. Reassembled in opposite order. Machine works great. Very easy fix, and perfect fit on part.

"Le" Fail Code on digital display ... Washer would not agitate and made an odd noise.
I first thought there was a mechanical problem but after checking everything mechanical I discounted that idea ... I researched and found out from others with a similar problem that the Le code display was probably a sensor problem ... I ordered a replacement sensor ... With the new sensor available, I removed the access panel to the back of the machine (phillips head screw driver - 4 screws) ... Remove the exposed motor half (1 bolt - 17mm scocket) ... Loosen the motor stator that has the wired coils (10mm socket - 6 bolts) ... Hold motor unit to the side without disconnecting the wiring harness ... Disconnect the sensor wire connector and remove the old sensor ... Clip the new sensor in place (same position as the old one) and re-connect ... Reverse the assembly procedures ... This fixed the problem and the washing machine works like a new one ... The wife is HAPPY!

    Code LE
Disconnected power supply and water supply hoses. Laid machine on its back because this is a top load machine. Removed one bolt to take off stator then 6 bolts to remove rotor. Put it on side without taking off wire assembly. Snapped off rotor position sensor and installed new one. Put all back together and connected power supply and new stainless braided hoses. WORKS PERFECT. Thanks !
