Washer Hose with Bellows Specifications

This washer hose with bellows, also known as a dispenser hose, is a genuine OEM replacement part for your washer. Replacing this part can be helpful if your washer is leaking. The dispenser hose connects the dispenser assembly to the tub. Before beginning the repair, unplug the washer and turn off the water supply. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver to complete this repair; a clamp tool can also be helpful. Remove the screws holding the lid of the washer in place, and take off the lid. Locate the dispenser hose and remove its clamps. Place the clamps on the new hose, using the arrows for a guide in positioning the clamps. Install the new hose and reassemble all other parts.

LG washing machine flooded the Landry room.
Wife called me and said the washing machine just flooded the Landry room. I looked at it and didn't see anything wrong. Took the top off and the back off and started looking for a leak, did not see anything. Took the front part of the washer apart thinking the drain hole was plugged up where the rubber boot is. It was ok after taking the big rubber boot off or whatever that is called i was not getting anywhere. I put it back together left the top and the back off. I turned the water on and started the washer on a quick cycle looking for a leak. I found the bellows at the inlet had a small leak fixed that and started the washer again. So what i found out was the clean out drain plug was not in tight letting water out as it was washing after i tightened it all was ok. So i did find a leak that was small that we never saw. The hardest part was putting that wire clamp on the rubber boot it took two people to do that.

Leaking hose
2 hose clamps and a hose, easy! This would be a very common cause of leaks in washers due to all the movement inside.

Noticed small tear in hose bellows and leak during reassembly
I already had the top of the washer open, from previous disassembly to clean the front loader seal, and when I ran a trial load, noticed a small 1/4" tear in the hose bellows that attaches to the drum.

Very simple repair, remove the existing hose by loosening the clamps, paying attention to their orientation. Install the existing hose clamps onto the new hose, install and tighten the hose clamps.

5 minute job, if the washer top is off (which is also simple).

Leak in top washer hose
Super straightforward to diagnose and repair.

There was puddle under the washer.

I removed the top (screws in rear, slide top toward rear slightly and lift) and followed the trail of water up to the top washer hose between the drum and detergent tray.

Two hose clamps to remove and replace, then replace the top and ready to go.

Our washer was leaking from the washer hose. Once taken off I could see it had a small tear in it. All it took was a screwdriver and a couple minutes and we were up and running. I love PartSelect.com for always having the parts I need and getting them to me in a timely manner!
Took off the old hose with a screwdriver and put the new one on. As simple as that. You don’t need a repair man to get this done, you can do it yourself and save money too.

After washing cycle ends, there is water in the softener dispenser. What is wrong? How do i fix this?
For model number WM3270CW
PartSelect logo
Hi Jerry, Thank you for your question. There are a couple of things that could be causing the problem. One of the most common things is that your detergent and your fabric softener build up at the hose fittings and clog up the openings. All you would have to do is clean out your dispenser housing. Sometimes it could simply be that your appliance is not level and so all of the water is not draining out as it is supposed to. If these things are not the issue you may have to look into your water inlet valve being the problem. It could be that your valve is not closing all the way after bringing water into the machine and is leaking into the dispenser tray. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

At the end of every cycle i have water leaking from a part in the drum seal on the upper right hand side of the seal. Your tutorials are helpful, but none mention the specific part & what gets replaced
For model number wm3875hvca

Hi Kim, Thank you for your question. If the washer is leaking from the top right corner, the issue is likely the door boot seal. The part number listed under your model number for the door boot seal is PS3535211. There is a clamp that goes around the door boot seal that secures it. You may need to check that and see if you have to adjust it. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

I have replaced the discharge hose, the pump and the housing and it worked fine for four days. Now its leaking again. What could it be?
For model number Kenmore 796.41162411
PartSelect logo
Hello Steve, thank you for your question. We would recommend checking the tub to pump hose, the vent bellows tube at the top of the tub and the tub to pump connector. We hope this helps.

Our LG washer is leaking quite heavily from the underneath left front side...could it possibly be the drain pump and motor or the water hose with bellows?
For model number WM3170CW
PartSelect logo
Hi Jill, Thank you for the question. The Drain Pump and Motor at located at the left front, sounds like the leak is coming from there. Hope this helps!

When cleaning the detergent dispenser, i've noticed water near the top of the opening of the black bellows hose (4738er1004b). When i run a load, the incoming water dispenses the detergent properly but after the final drain and spin, i can still see standing water level in the hose. Shouldn't the water be fully draining so the it doesn't become stagnant?
For model number LG WM2801HWA

Hello, Thank you for your question. You will want to check the drain hose and the drain tube to ensure it is not clogged. If it is not you will need to replace the drain hose. We hope this helps.

How do I get to the bottom of washer when there is no separate bottom panel? My ft loader seems to be leaking from the lower front so I’m assuming it’s one of the pump hoses.
For model number 41162
PartSelect logo
Hello Tim, Thank you for your inquiry. You have to remove the screws from the back of the washer and remove the top panel off to access this part. We have included a link on how to access the drain pump, which explains how to get access to the bottom of the washer. Good luck with your repair.
