I need to replace a mouse-chewed wire that looks like the ground for this part. It is the single wire that goes to the smaller plug. Is that available or fixable? Or do I need to replace that whole unit?

My generator has com apart at the seam is that just glue they use and if so what kind can i use, the part is not bad its in half? Thanks rick
