The installation of the new parts, bearings and shaft went well . The disassembly of 6 yrs old washer was very hard as old bearings were seized on the shaft. I fortunately had a 3 jaw puller but made my own part to screw on the the tub to remove it , then the bearings . Watched a few Ytube videos with suggestions of buying the appropriate tools for removal of tub and bearings , but never checked into price and did not have time to wait . I would suggest to inform new customers the degree of
I ordered 2 parts .The bearings and shaft kit came fast by Purolator . The second part , the inside hub kit came a week later and I had already made repair and used old hub but work OK.

Right parts for machine
Parts arrived in good time. Second time replacing bearing in 6 months. Not sure if I didn't seal it good enough or poor quality parts. Still cheaper than replacing machine

To be able to repair your own stuff is great
The part was everything that it was described mistake I made was not buying the bearing tool, but I made it work overall very satisfied. It’s great to know there’s a company out there that you could get parts for your machines as a homeowner I love fixing my own stuff.

All the right parts, need bearing tool to set bearings
Fixed a noisy washing machine, was getting noisier to the point where it was roaring over the last few months. Eventually leaked on the floor as water got past the top bearing. Had all the correct parts and grease and glue but you also would benefit from a press tool to squeeze the two bearings together back into place. They’re available in other kits at lower price.

Fairly easy repair if you're mechanically inclined. The seal gets installed after the shaft. Grease the seal and put adhesive on the outer bearing races. No instructions.hev
Fast delivery. The kit was complete with everything but detailed instructions. The washing machine lives on!

Worn agitator shaft
My spin cycle would not work because the splines from the steel main shaft were rusted away and slipping. Most IMPORTANT search for YouTube videos how to do it, there are several. Don't get scared if you do not have the factory installation tools, a long punch and hammer works and large washers to match the size of the new bearings to hit on with punch, the seal pushes in hand easy with a piece of pipe. With some mechanical knowledge it will be ok. Give yourself a few hours to complete for a first time.

Washer was noisy, Top seal and bearing bad
You better be confident in your repair abilities before you try this. Get the washer to a large open area, like your garage, because there are a lot of parts. Take off the back, pop the top, unsnap and remove the top ring off outer tub, take out the agitator, take out the inner tub, disconnect the pumps and electrical wires, take screw out of rotor on bottom and remove rotor, take out 4 bolts to remove motor magnet ring, and now you may be ready to unhook the outer tub from the 4 supports (springs) and lift it out of the metal frame. Then unscrew the bottom nut on the shaft, use blocks to hold the tub in place, and carefully tap the old shaft and bearings out. The instructions that came with the kit helped. The shaft and top seal comes out the top first. Then you can tap out upper bearing and then the lower bearing and spacers.Instructions called for a special tool to install the bearings but you can carefully tap them in. You will need blocks to support the tub while you tap them. First block under the tub and install top bearing, then flip over and use several blocks to hold tub while you drop the shaft, spacers, and tap lower bearing in. I did not need to tap on the inner ring of the bearings, just the outer ring. Be very careful not to damage the seal in the bearings. That's why you must tap them in careful and slow. Them install the nut on the bottom. You need to hold the shaft with damaging it while you tighten the nut. I used the hard nylon gear from the inner tub which I was replacing with a new one. Then put it all back together.

My problem is the ol code comes on with nothing in the tub. When i try to do a load it washes for about 10 min. Than water is coming in and is going out but it will not advance to the next cycle. Just hums than the ol code comes on
For model number WTW7340XW0
Hello Bonita, thank you for your question. I would recommend replacing the sensor part number WPW10178988. This rotary position sensor is a genuine OEM part for your washing machine. It helps to ensure the load of clothing stays balanced during the wash cycle. If the sensor isn't working, the unit might be stuck in "unbalanced mode". Try unplugging the unit and leaving it for about 10 minutes, then plugging it back in to see if that resets it. I would also check the tub seal and bearing kit to be sure the tub is turning freely as any corrosion or debris around the bearing and seal can cause the tub to not spin freely. I hope this helps!

Would these be the correct parts for my washer bearing set
For model number MVWB725BW0
Hello Max, Thank you for the question. I have researched the model you have provided and have found the Tub Seal and Bearing is only sold as part of the Outer Tub, PartSelect Number PS3503107. I looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued sorry. There are no part substitutions listed. My suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers. Hope this helps!

Please see the part links related to this question just beneath this answer. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

Thanks for asking my question. Can you please also tell me how to check the parts for signs of damage " faulty basket hub kit or malfunctioning tub seal and bearing"
Thanks
For model number MVWB300WQ0
Hello Sharon and thank you for writing.
The seal and bearing: Fill up the tub partway, put a little bit of detergent in it and let it just hang out.
Check an hour later and there it is. Soapy water on the floor, not so much in the tub. You can also inspect the seal for cracks and missing pieces, being brittle.
The hub kit: The basket hub is located under the agitator. If your washer is not agitating or spinning properly, the hubs will need to be replaced. You again would need to inspect these plastic parts for missing teeth or broken or cracked pieces. The basket hub is located under the agitator. If your washer is not agitating or spinning properly, the hubs will need to be replaced.

Our machine has a very loud growling during spin cycles, like dry/bad bearings sound. Plus has developed a leak. What part(s) do I need to make the necessary repairs?
For model number WTW8540BW0
Hi Larry, thank you for reaching out. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest checking the hoses for leaks. You may also need to check the following parts: basket hub kit, part number PS11723155, and suspension rod kit, part number PS3502193. We hope this solves your problem!
