not cleaning, spray arms not working
The hardest part was disconnecting the dishwasher. the motor is located on the bottom so after pulling it out and laying it down on the front of the machine the motor unplugs and 2 screws hold it in place. The new motor comes with "O" rings so I applied a little grease and put it back together. 2 minutes to replace motor, 15 minutes to disconnect water and electric, 15 to reconnect.

Water leak behind kick-plate
See posting under O rings. Get schematic Motor & Pump pg. 8 from pub # 5995487674. Steps: 1) run cycle so most water is pumped out of dishwasher 2) remove front cover to reduce weight of door; 3) disconnect electric plug, hot water hose [NOTE: be prepared for some water from hose], and waste tube all usually found under sink area; 4) remove 2 screws at top of front panel; 5) lower leveling feet to allow best clearance; 6) put towels under front feet to protect floor and slide unit out from under counter; 7) place heavy blanket next to unit to protect floor and tip unit over on its side; 8) disconnect electric plug from motor and remove metal spring clip holding motor (2 torx screws) and pull clip off motor; 9)gently rock motor while lifting to remove from unit [NOTE position of motor for reassembly]; 10) put thin coat of silicon on O rings and place on new motor [look at old motor to make sure O rings are in proper slots; 11) line up motor and gently push new motor back into position; 12) reverse disassemble steps above. 13) run dishwasher through fastest cycle to check for leaks.

Water pump went up, soap dispenser wouldn't close and a little rust on the lower rack.
Easy repair. pulled dishwasher out, disconnected electrical wire for safety but don't think it was required since the breaker was off (turn it on and flip the breaker for verification). Pulling the pump and replacing was easy, soap dispenser, same, easy. First time I ever worked on a dishwasher, simple. Parts were all OEM parts and most importantly were the correct parts I needed. Way cheaper than replacing the unit and I saved $150 on an hours worth of work vice paying the service guy.

pump failing
The pump was progressively getting noisier over time to the point we could hear it in the back of the house. The dishes were always clean though. Turned off breaker. Removed two screws attaching unit to cabinet. Pulled out unit as far as I could and disconnected power. Turned unit slightly so I could reach water connection and disconnected it. Disconnected flexible drain hose, then could pull unit completely out of cabinet. Turned on it's side so I could access the motor. Removed two screws, steel retaining clip, then motor. Came with 2 new O rings which I lubricated and replaced. Reinstalled everything and problem solved, nice and quiet. One hour 15 minutes total.

Replace dishwater pump.
Block and remove water hookup and drain hose. Ensure drain port on garbage disposer has a plug in it while drain hose is disconnected to ensure sink water does not find its way inside the cabinet. Place dishwasher with door facing floor. Remove electrical plug and pump retainer. Slide out pump. To replace pump reverse steps.
