Water and Ice would NOT turn off
Told the person on the phone what my problem was and she told me the answer. Replace the control board ($137.00). Took her advice part arrived in 3 days. It took me (not a very good techy or mechanical person) 15 minutes to take out old board and put new one in. Works like a charm. Saved a service call and highly recommend Part Select. Bob

If the face panel is wearing down, do you need to replace the whole panel? Part # 242114904?

Ice and water will not shut off after I remove my glass. I think it is the board.

The touch pad works, the round plastic covers on the button worn out. Can we just purchase the round semi clear plastic?

Control panel had error code sy ce. Since then I haven’t seen that code but occasionally the fridge will beep several times and kick off and on. Then it will start running again. Cools and freezes fine

Hello Sharon, thank you for reaching out. The SY CE error code means that the display board is not communicating with the main relay board. Try to just unplug the refrigerator for 15 minutes and plug it back in to see if the error goes away. If the issue does not go away, check the wires/wiring on the main control board and user interface board. Check to be sure wires/wiring is secure on the boards and not damaged. Visually check the main control board and user interface board for signs of burns/melted areas. Disconnect all wires on both boards and plug back in. If this does not help, you will need to replace the main control board, part number PS3419838. Usually, the main control board under the refrigerator behind the kick panel is the part that tends to fail. Good luck with the repair!
When the ice maker tries to fill with water, the water comes out both the water dispenser and the ice maker and I hear a weird noise in the back of the refrigerator. I replaced the water valve and it did not solve my problem. Would the control panel be the problem instead or is it something else?

My ice dispenser stopped working what part do i need for it's repair. Water still works fine display works also.

The refrigerator says 47°, but in fact it is 20 degrees. Keeps freezing and breaking filters. What part do I need?

Hello Kathy, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the Defrost Thermostat Kit, PartSelect Number PS469522. The best way to do this is to remove the thermostat from the refrigerator so you can control the temperature of the sensor. You can let the sensor warm up to room temperature. With the sensor warmed up to room temperature the sensor should read approximately 6.2K Ohms at 68°F. With the thermistor submerged is a glass full of ice water, the sensor should be very close to 32°F which should read approximately 16.3K Ohms. If the values that you are getting are far off from these readings, then the sensor is bad and should be replaced. We hope this helps!

I've got 2 issues with the fridge. I think both may be related to the board. The first issue is the dispenser is only sending out crushed ice. I can hit the cube option but it only sends crushed. The second issue just started where it continues to send ice even after the cup has been removed.
