Parts for this fridge break often
From the beginning, this Kenmore's drawer and rack parts have broken frequently. Parts Select does a great job of having and sending the correct replacements in a timely way, but the quality of the plastic (original and replacement) seems poor and the design - especially of drawer hangers - has weak spots that get stressed and break, repeatedly, under pretty normal usage. I have probably spent about $300 on replacing the various interior plastic parts. The meat/cheese drawer hangers/guides are the worst, with both left and right side having broken twice. The crisper cover frame was busted in three places when we finally had to replace it. All the door rack guards are cracked and will need to be replaced at some point. Not sure what can be done but some sturdier plastic would really be appreciated.

Parts of the interior of the refrigerator were broken
All I did was take the old pieces out of the refrigerator, clean the glass and put in the new pieces. It was a simple solution and now my refrigerator is like new! AND, I didn't have to pay my appliance store for their repairman!
i just pulled out the old frame and plced down the new fit perfect no tools required... .i will definetaly order from this company again love the "speedyness"!!!

When I enter the model # 790-65842A, I get the response We could not find a match. I have looked carefully and there is only one paper sticker which says Kenmore - manufactured for Sears Canada, and gives the model number above. This fridge is at least 20 years old and runs well for its age.
The existing crisper cover has a MFG number 240337000. The part you carry # 240364793 looks identical in the photos.
Do you know if 240364793 can replace 240337000?
