Top portion of the agitator finally quit working. Cams that engage the action wore down.
Repair was simple, after finding the correct part from Partselect. Exact match. Old part out with removal of one bolt, new agitator assembly installed in five minutes. Works great and saved me from buying a new washer. Cost of repair about $80.00, replace washing machine, about $600.00.

The top part of the Agitator was no longer working.
The repair was very easy. The only hard part was due to the age of the machine the cap covering the agitator assembly was stuck on the top.I had to use a very large pipe wrench to loosen it. Other than that the whole repair went very smooth. You will need an extension with the socket wrench in order to reach the screw holding down the agitator.I was very impressed with the service from Parts Select. I received my part very fast and it included everything I needed to complete the job.

Had to replace the agitator
I already had the old agitator out, so when I got the new one I put it in the tub. You have to spin it a little so it seats properly. I then tightened the bolt with a 7/16” socket and my wife was washing a load within 15 minutes

The plastic teeth on the inside of the large agitator stripped out.
I needed an air impact wrench to remove the single nut. It was stuck on there. Once the Nut. Was removed it was an easy repair. Perfect fit! Just pop it on the shaft and replace the bolt. Since I had my air tools out already I gave it a couple of dugga duggas.

The bucket of the dog's harness is bought under the agitator of the washer. How do i loosen the agitator to lift it up to remove the harness buckle from under the agitator?
For model number NTW4516FW3
Hello Tom, Thank you for your inquiry. You need to start by removing the cap, the cap barrier, and use a socket wrench to remove the bolt from the agitator. You should then be able to pull the agitator out. We have included a link to our video for a similar agitator to assist you with removing the agitator. Hope this helps.

My washer is not agitating . I replaced the agitator dog & motor drive coupling. Still is not agitating & make noise during the regular wash. Please help
For model number ETW4400WQ0
Hi Jamal, thank you for your question. There are a few parts that you will have to check to see if they need to be replaced. You should check your thrust spacer and agitator cam bearing. Both of those parts are in the agitator repair kit. You may also want to take a look at your agitator cams, your gearcase, and then finally your motor itself. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

I got your answer to my first question about loosening they bolt that holds the agitator to remove the dog harness from under the agitator but i cannot loosen the bolt with the socket wrench. Is the bolt a right or left handed thread. I tried both ways but i cannot remove the bolt holding the agitator to get the harness out from under the agitator.

Hello, final spin cycle doesn't work. It drains to a point then won't spin.
Thank you.
For model number Ras8333pqo
Hello Debra, thank you for your question. If the washer is not spin drying your clothes make sure the drain hose is not bent and restricting water from draining out. It is also a good idea to remove the hose from the drain pump and check the pump and drain hose for any blockages. Your washer has a filtering device down and near the pump called a drain filter, check this filter for debris. You can test the drain pump with a multimeter. Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet before you begin. Touch a probe to each of the terminals on the pump. A reading of zero or infinity, means the pump requires replacement. Part number: PS11741239. It could also be the timer. Part number: PS11746373. Touch the two probes of the volt-ohm meter to the contact points to be tested. Turn the dial of the timer to the appropriate cycle that is being tested. There should be no continuity reading on the volt-ohm meter during the test. If there is a reading on the volt-ohm meter, the timer is faulty. Good luck with your repair!
