I am replacing the silverware basket with part wd28x265 (previously ps261346) but readers have provided the size of their same part and they are not the same. My part is 7" h x 8 1/2 l x 7"w. What part number has these dimensions?

The space for the silverware holder in my dish rack is 91/2" long not 9". How is it supposed to fit?

Opened package from Parts Select. Removed Silverware basket from package. Opened Dishwasher. Inserted Silverware Basket in rack. Closed Dishwasher. Discarded shipping package. Told wife I fixed Dishwasher. Sat down & had a beer.

One of my top rack rollers had broken and the rack could not hold any weight
I simply detatched the broken old roller and snapped in the new one. It was very simple and I did not need any tools.
Removed old basket, put new one in. New basket fits but it is larger then the old one so it takes up more room leaving less room for dishes. My dishwasher is apartment size.
Service from PartsSelect was very prompt.

Silverware basket was missing in the condo that we rented
I just plugged in the model number and a screen came up that showed all the part numbers that made up the model. picked out the parts that we needed and ordered it and within 2 day we had the new basket that we needed for our dish washer. the service and ease was better that going to the appliance store and picking up the basket. Old broken-bottom silverware basket
repair is easy, you take the old basket out, you put the new one in. However, what might be helpful information to someone, is that my dishwasher uses the Silverware Basket (Grey), but I also bought Silverware Basket with Lids to see if I could get it in there somehow. Well, somehow is that it fits perfectly across the front of the lower rack. So, major upgrade. More room for silverware, but the lids are great for things like milk jug lids, baby bottle caps, other lids etc. If you have a potscrubber 600 from back in the day (mid 1980s), I suggest you consider the long narrow silverware basket with lids instead of the grey squarish basket.
