Cooling Fan Motor

Hi Stan, Thank you for your question. The first thing you will need to do is cut the power to your appliance. Step 1: Remove your control panel. To do this you will have to remove the knobs and then remove the top panel retainers that are behind the knobs. Lift the panel off and disconnect the wire harnesses. Remove the screws securing the control bracket and the grounding wire. Step 2: Disconnect the surface element wire harnesses. Step 3: Open the over door and remove the screws on the bottom of the control panel. Then remove the screw on top that secure it to the main top. Step 4: Remove the gasket on the glass top. Step 5: Unscrew the screws that secure your main top to your appliance. Be sure to take a picture or note where the wire harnesses go before removing the main top. Then pull the main top forward and up to remove the it. Step 6: This will reveal your cooling fan motor. Disconnect the wires from the fan assembly. Rotate the assembly counter clockwise to remove it. Follow these steps in reverse to install everything back together. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
