I needed new oven racks
My husband had turned the oven on to cook something and didn't know that I have a plastic tray in there. Well, needless to say I needed to get some new oven racks. I tried to get them through the manufacturer (GE). They were 68$ each. I thought that was a bit steep, so I looked online. I decided to order through PartsSelect. Well...they can 2 days later (the week before Christmas!!)and were a PERFECT fit. Between the price, shipping speed and quality I will definitely buy from again and recommend this site to everyone I know!!!!
Oh yeah, I work for Sears too. we have access to all sorts of parts....this site is the BEST for prices and delivery speed!!!!

Damaged oven door gasket
Very easy repair. The gasket ends are stuffed into slots right below the oven window and the gasket is held in with small wire clips that pop into holes in the door. Just pull the old gasket off, no tools. Install the gasket starting by stuffing one end into the slot mentioned above until the first clip lines up with the first small hole. Then insert each successive clip into the corresponding holes. Then use a slot screwdriver to stuff the other end of the gasket into the second slot. No sweat.
Don't clean your oven with the racks still in, takes the finish off!!!!
Took old racks out, slid new ones in....exact match at a huge savings from what GE wanted per rack. Found the company through a Google search, have it bookmarked and will be back if I need something from them.

Replaced Racks
Yeah, so I didn't read the manual the first time we ran the self-clean cycle on the oven. Something about taking the racks out. So these were my little reminder to never do that again. The old racks came out; the new ones went in. Ten seconds. On to the next embarrassment...

Missing Oven Racks
When we moved into our new home I discovered that the oven that came with the home did not have any racks in it. I ordered these racks because they said they were compatible with Hotpoint ovens. However, when the racks arrived they were just a tad too wide to easily slide in the oven. With a bit of force my husband was able to shove the racks in. Luckily I don't cook enough to care if they are moved again because I don't think they'll come out easily.

old oven racks were ruined from self-cleaning oven
My exact model number did not appear in the listings, nor were the oven rack measurements clearly stated in items offered. I sent an email to customer service, received an immediate response with the correct answer (re: which part would fit my oven), ordered this item, and had a shipment arrival within days. Burner food on racks
Nothing really rocket science here. The oven racks had burned on food, and I just replaced the racks..... slide out the old and slide in the new. Done !

Oven racks discolored ; due to being left in oven when the oven was cleaned.

My oven racks are 24 x 18. The model # is slightly different. Will this work for my model?

Hello Aline, thank you for your question. These racks measure approximately 24 x 18 inches so they should work. However, without having an exact model match we can't guarantee they will work. However, since the measure correctly, and the model number is very similar it should be fine. If you order them and they do not fit, you can return them to us for a refund. Are these racks self cleaning can i leave in the oven during self cleaning
Hello Dennis, thank you for writing. Even if the racks were considered "self cleaning" the manufacturer as well as our company does not recommend the racks be kept in the unit during the self cleaning process. We would recommend removing the racks and putting them in a plastic bag, then covering them with oven off cleaner. Seal the bag and leave overnight outside. After leaving them overnight the debris should wipe off quite easily. I hope this helps!
