Hi Penny, thank you for your question. If you are looking for your meat probe, the part you are questioning on is the correct part. However if you are looking for the sensor that senses the temperature inside of your oven while it is working, I have linked that part down below for you. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
This is a meat thermometer probe. Can you leave this inside the oven inserted into the meat with the oven door closed and the oven baking at 400 degrees? I installed my oven about 25 years ago now and the first time i tried to use this probe, it melted like a cheap plastic toy. So i have been reluctant to buy another.

Hello David and thanks for writing.
These are the instructions for Probe PS235360
A meat thermometer is a unit that will measure the core temperature of meats while cooking. It will have a metal probe with a sharp point that is pushed into the meat. It should be connected by a flexible heat-resistant silicone cable to the oven control board & display. Some brand models have programmed for auto cooking with the meat probe.
Use: The probe can be inserted into the meat before starting cooking, and cooking continued until the desired internal temperature is reached. Alternatively, the meat can be cooked for a certain time and taken out of the oven, and the temperature checked before serving. The tip of the probe should be in the thickest part of the meat, but not touching bone, which conducts heat and gives an overestimate of the meat temperature.
Beef, Lamb, Veal (RARE 125°F, MEDIUM 145°F, WELL DONE 160°F)
Meaty Fish (RARE 125°F, MEDIUM 140°F, WELL DONE 150°F)
PORK, Sausage (WELL DONE 150-160°F)
So, in other words, it should not melt as it is made from heat resistant silicone. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime.
I have replaced the upper and lower element and the oven sensor, the broil still will not heat. Should I order an oven sensor?

Hello Frances, Thank you for the question. If the Sensor has already been replaced and did not fix the issue, a new sensor will not help. If the new element and new sensor did not fix the issue, you may have a defective Oven Control Board. We are sorry, we looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued. There are no part substitutions listed. Our suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers and contact us back with the updated substitution number. We hope this helps!
