Was great to be able to get a part in such short time. Glad not to have to purchase a new machine. Machine works like it is brand new.

Intermittent problem with lid switch, no high speed spin/pump out
Disconnect power, unsnap and raise machine top cover w/lid, remove old switch - two screws under lid, taking care to not drop loose actuator lever into machine. Remove control panel back and disconnect switch wire connector. Intall new switch, taking care to not drop loose actuator lever into machine, connect switch wires inside control panel. Replace panel cover and lower machine top cover w/lid and snap into place, reconnect power, verify operation...

My 24 year old Maytag performance washer started occasionally not agitating. Eventually it did not agitate at all but would spin.
The lid switch is on the right side top of the washer under the lid. I took a putty knife and found the clips that hold the top of the washer and pushed them to release it. I then lifted it up to fully see the lid switch. I unplugged the washer from the wall socket and took out the 2 screws that holds the lid switch in. Then unplugged the lid switch from its electrical connection and put the new one in its place. Washer is working great so far.

Washer won't spin but will fill and agitate is this my problem lid switch
For model number W205KA
Hello Donald, thank you for your question. If the unit will function in every other function but agitate the most likely issue is the lid switch. I would recommend replacing this part to see if it fixes the issue. Per your model, the lid switch is Lid Switch Kit 12001187. Good luck with your repair!

Machine operates as soon as water gets to the level needed with the lid open.Could this be a defective lid switch?
For model number PAV2200AWW
Hello Oscar, thank you for your question. The unit shouldn't agitate or spin with the lid open. If it does the lid switch is defective and should be replaced. I hope this helps!

Washer begins spinning, but water comes out slowly. Water then comes out forcefully after lifting, then immediately lowering lid. I though the problem was the lid switch, which I replaced from Partselect, but the problem persists. Any suggestions would be appreciated?
For model number HAV2460AWW
Hello Lorenzo, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Water Inlet Valve. Set your multitester to the R X 1 ohms setting to test for continuity. Place each of the multitester's leads on a terminal. Your multitester should display a reading between 200 and 500 ohms. Closely examine your water inlet valve. The exact ohm resistance rating you should test for may be marked on the valve. We hope this helps!

Hello. My Admiral washing machine will not spin. I believe it is the actuator. I see you sell a replacement part for just the actuator. There is also a whole replacement kit for sale. How do I know if I need to replace the whole unit or just the actuator? Thank you for your help!

My washer machine stopped working when I pulled out the knob to begin the washing machine. I am not sure what is wrong? It seems like the lid is engaging but there is no power.
Hello Frances,
Thanks for your question. The exact parts needed may vary from model to model, but there are a few general parts we can recommend. The lid switch, start switch, timer, drive motor, and main control board should be tested with a multimeter for continuity. Replace them if they fail electrical continuity. Examine the door strike as well for any signs of damage and replace it if needed.
I hope this helps.
