This 3400-watt bake element has screw style connections. The bake element is located on the bottom of the oven cavity and supplies the heat for baking. If your oven is not heating evenly, element will not heat, or there is little to no heat when baking, you may need to replace the element. When replacing the element make sure to hold the wires forward so the wires do not fall back through the rear of the oven. This is a genuine OEM bake element. Please remember to disconnect the power to your range before you start your repair.

The oven has two heating elements the top gets hot, but the bottom element does not on bake , hi or lo setting, i inspected the element and dont see any cracks
For model number # 790.46783901
Hi Vandean, thank you for your question. There are a few parts that could cause this issue in your appliance. First I would say test your elements with a multi meter to see if they are working correctly or not. They should be reading between 0 - 50 ohms to be working correctly. The other part you should check would be your oven temperature sensor. That can also be tested with a multi meter and should be reading between 1000 - 1100 ohms. If those three parts are fine however, then the issue may be in your control board. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Very little bake heat and no broiler heat.
For model number E30EW75GPS4
Hi Kelly,
Thank you for your question. If the oven is not heating correctly, then the issue is likely with the oven sensor, sometimes called the oven thermostat, and you will need to check it with a multi-meter. When testing the sensor with a multi-meter, the sensor should be tested at room temperature and it should be unplugged from the oven. You will need to measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. Replace the oven sensor if the reading is less than 900 Ohms or more than 1200 Ohms. If the oven sensor checks out, you will need to check the electronic control board, both the bake and the broil elements and the wiring between them to see what part may be causing the issue. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

It takes 40 minutes for the top oven to preheat & when it gets to the temperature it doesn't hold the temperature when you try to cook. Any suggestions?
For model number PLEB30T9FCC
Hi Naomi,
Thank you for your question. If the upper oven is not heating correctly, then you will need to check the temperature sensor, the wiring between the temperature sensor and the electronic control board, the electronic control board and the bake and broil elements. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
