Seven year old condenser fan was making noise when it was running.
The process to repair was very simple, I removed the back of the refrigerator to expose the motor area. I then removed three screws that held the condenser motor in place. once it was loose I detactched the electrical harness and removed the old motor. I then placed the new motor in place and secured it with the screws and reattached the new electrical harness that came with the new part. Once completed I reviewed it to make sure I didn't miss anything. I then replaced the cover over the motor area and enjoyed my success in repairing my own appliance with no added cost for labor, which would have been expensive I'm sure. The part purchased came with clear and consice instructions very easy to follow.

Fridge made noise and the center post was HOT!
We have a side-by-side fridge/freezer and we experienced a hot center post (where doors come together) and the fridge made loud noise. Also, the (old) fan motor would start, but then quit, so our issue was the motor.
For me the repair was very easy, but for an unexperienced person it may prove to be difficult. If you must order a motor/fan, do NOT order the metal fan as a plastic fan comes with the motor. What's strange is the new motor is different than the old one, but it still mounted without any required modifications. I did NOT use the wire harness that came with the motor either as it was different too, but my old one was still good.
Check all of your parts as my fan had a cracked blade, but I used "superglue" and it's fine now.
Fridge stays cold and my wife had to lower the temperature in the fridge as she was blasted by the cold!

old condenser fan motor shaft was loose and it made the spinning fan blades shake and cause noise
The procedure was straightforward. I removed the cardboard backing on the lower back of the refrigerator to expose the fan unit. I then undid the electrical harness at the fan. I then removed the three screws securing the fan motor to the metal bracket. This is the hardest part in that I had to reach through and get to the screws with my small tools. I then removed the old motor and blades and placed the new motor and blades. Again, a bit tricky trying to get the three screws mounted into the bracket...small tools and hands helps. After that I used the electrical harness supplied with the kit to plug into the new motor and I was done.

fridge made a loud growling noise when running
removed the clip that the motor was attached too put the new motor back on reinstalled the clip back on the fridge plugged the wire harness in and works perfect now . it was easier to remove the clip than to try to install the motor by itself its just to tight and you cant get in there

Warm door jambs and also leaking in the freezer
After diagnosing two problems (Hot door jambs between the fridge and freezer, as well as excessive leaking in the freezer) I ordered the parts online. I received a new condenser fan kit and a new water inlet valve. Both were easy to replace. The hardest part was getting the old condenser fan out of the fridge, but I took off the fan blade first, and pulled that out, then I was able to get the fan motor out. The water inlet valve was pretty easy as well, just make sure that you shut the water off completely. I made the mistake of only turning it a quarter turn at the valve on the wall when I should have made a half turn on the valve. Slight water mess in the kitchen, but if that's the worst thing that happened on this repair, then I'm OK with that. Both were easy to replace and the cost saved of not having to call a repairman was the extra added bonus.

Motor was noisy
I removed 4 screws holding the motor mounting bracket and removed the assy from the unit. I then removed 3 screws holding the motor to the bracket. I put the fan blade on the new motor and reattached the motor to the bracket. I plugged in the wiring adapter to the motor and reinstalled the bracket in the unit with the 4 screws. Finally I attached the unit wiring connector to the motor. It was relatively easy.

There was a loud noise coming from the fridge - we ordered the new part it came a lot sooner than we excepted and we replaced it in about 20 minutes- the hardest part was my husband getting his hand in there to put the screws in- but a very easy fix.

Noise when compressor was running
I recieved the replacement part the next day after ordering it. If you are some what mechanicaly talented this repair is very simple. The only tool that is needed is a nut driver. You may want to remove the bracket holding the water solenoid vavlves. Then you can pull them out of your way to remove the 3 screws holding the fan to the bracket. Once you remove the old fan motor just reverce your steps with the new motor. Check that all your screws are tight. Check to make sure that there are no wires in the way of the fan. Don't forget to attach the wire harness and re-attach the solenoid bracket. Ahh nice and quiet like new!

Why does a fan turn on and off every few seconds then there's a clicking sound in the bottom right ? The temp never changes its just that turning on and off of a fan

Thank you for your question. If the fan is continuously turning on and off every few seconds, then There are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. There is a blue blinking light flashing and an alarm sound, the freezer side is ok but the refrigerator side is no longer cold.

compressor fan motor is to noisy, need replacement compressor fan motor. but the one that was sent is wrong part. old fan has a different body and the electrical connector harness is different as well. the old one has three prongsa the new one has 4.

Hello Debbie, Thank you for the question. The fan will kick on and off to maintain the temperature. I suggest testing the Bi-Metal Defrost Thermostat, PartSelect Number PS11750673. The best way to do this is to remove the thermostat from the refrigerator so you can control the temperature of the sensor. You can let the sensor warm up to room temperature. With the sensor warmed up to room temperature the sensor should read approximately 6.2K Ohms at 68°F. With the thermistor submerged is a glass full of ice water, the sensor should be very close to 32°F which should read approximately 16.3K Ohms. If the values that you are getting are far off from these readings, then the sensor is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps!
The condenser fan is not circulating. The fan motor is not bound and the bearings are not causing any noise when the fan spins. If i spin the fan by hand it will start running for about an hour and then turn off and not start up again unless hand started up again. Is the issue with the fan motor or the controller board? If so, is this the correct fan model number?

If the freezer isn't freezing the issue is probably with the Run Capacitor Part Number: WP65889-4, Compressor Start Device and Capacitor Part Number: W10613606 or electronic Control Board Part Number: WPW10503278. We would recommend testing the capacitor and start device, as well as the cleaning out the fan and compressor area in case the coils are too dusty, which can cause the freezer to not freeze.
