Good afternoon. My icemaker is not working, I ran diagnostics and got an E5 code on test 56. I replaced the thermistor and now have E0 on readout. Good. But ice maker still not working. Ran test 58 result code is 00. test 57 code result is 20. Test 59 code 10.
Can you help me with troubleshooting?
thanks
For model number wrf736sdam14
Hello Tim, thank you for contacting us. Based on the description that you have provided, the code on test 58 that gave you a 00 tells that the ice maker heater and motor are off and the icemaker is on a harvest mode. The error code 20 on test 56 means that the icemaker itself has a bad position sensor. The error code 10 on test 59 indicates the motor rotating clockwise until home position and in progress. We would recommend replacing the ice maker assembly, part number PS17215831, to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

Ice maker is located in the very top left of my refrigerator. It has quit making ice. I have changed the water filter and ran water through the refrigerator door and I have good pressure. I have always felt like it never made enough ice for awhile. Now it is doing nothing at all. Thanks for your advice on this.
