Great Part
Once I figured out how to contact PartSelect, they were able to direct me to the right part. It came in good time and condition, and my daughter was able to install it. She couldn't find the exact video. but was still able to figure it out. It is working perfectly, and it is great to have our stove back, as this is the burner we use the most. Thank you!

Worked as expected
Thermal limiter could not be replaced separately on this element. I had to replace the complete radiant surface element. My range is a Frigidaire Gallery 30" Slide In. The video instructions are not really applicable to my model. The way the surface element is attached is also different. Before the repair, "Hot Element" was always displayed for that element and the control cooling fan was always running. I had to turn off the whole range at the breaker to stop the fan noise. Now everything is working well

Replace left front dual heating element
Followed the parts select video. However there were differences. Four screws to release stovetop from brackets very difficult to break free even once correct bit identified. No spring clips but studded screw and coil springs let elements fall right off underside bracket. Need fours hands to hold back in place to screw bracket back in place to hold elements.

The left and right front burner on my stove are not working, on one the middle no longer heats and the other only the middle heats. I see that this part is for the left front burner but both front burners appear to be the same size, will this also work for the right front burner on my range? Thank you!

The centre coils of the front left Quick Boil dual element have burned out. We replaced the element but this did not fix the problem. I want to order the switch now as a second attempt.
Question 1: Do you think this will fix the problem
Question 2: I disagree with the part number to replace this as shown in your schematic as it states single burner but it is definitely a double.
Question 3: What part do you recommend I order, 54 or 54A and NOT by looking at this schematic on your website but by really analyzing the situation for a dual element that says Quick Boil.
I do not want to order two parts to have to return one.
For model number CFEF3054USF
Hello Janice, thank you for getting in touch. The issue seems to be with the surface element switch and you may need to replace it to fix the issue. The part number is PS1145039. It is labelled as 54 in the schematic diagram. The switch labelled as 54A in the diagram is for the front right burner. We hope this solves your problem!.
