My Frigidaire side by side is not cooling on the fridge side at all but is freezing a little on the freezer side. The fan is working and i hear the compressor working, so would this be a start relay problem that needs to be changed?

Thank you for your question. If the refrigerator section is too warm, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which ones are causing the issue. If there is some ice buildup occurring in the freezer section, make sure the drain is not clogged with debris that would prevent water from draining during the defrost cycle. Also, check the gaskets and make sure that the doors to the refrigerator are not kept open for long periods of time. This can cause moisture to build up and can cause ice to build up. Hello
I have a fridge with the above referenced model # that stopped cooling and freezing. The fan runs and the compressor tries to start but then quits.
I was told i.might need a 3 n 1 compressor hard start relay.
