Interior lamp burned out
Unscrewed the vent at top of microwave exposing small access to bulb. The access to this was very limited so that was the major issue in changing the bulb. You needed small hands to do the job.

Does this bulb work with the surface light that has the bright light and night light feature? I’ve tried several bulbs from the store but none of them work. They just work with the night light option and not the bright light.

The replacement bulbs i ordered from GE item id# wb36x10328 were too large and did not fit my microwave oven. The bulb was marked as 130 v and 40watts. I have been having problems getting the correct bulb. Is there anyway for you to know what voltage the bulb should be. The prior owner had a light bulb that was 40 watts that was overheating so that is why i need to replace it.

The microwave (GE jvm1640wj03) sits over the oven. There is a light underneath the microwave that shines light on the stove top. The bulbs have burned out. What replacement part # should i use?Thanks,

Bulb ??? This is over-the-range microwave/hood. The bulb is NOT a screw-in but has 2 prongs. What is the replacement bulb?

I replaced the surface light bulbs with same bulbs that were in it. 40watt. When I put 1 bulb in I turned on to see if it worked. It did, I turned it off, put 2nd bulb in. Turned on, made a loud pop noise. Would not work after that. Tried new bulbs, won't come on. Is there an internal breaker on this microwave?
