This could be due to the following: drain pump on the washer may need to be cleaned. The drain hose may be obstructed. Clean the drain pump filter. Check the drain hose for obstructions and verify installation. The drain hose cannot be more than 4.5 inches into the standpipe or laundry sink. It also must be routed at least 24 inches from the floor, and not over 96 inches. If this does not help, you may need to replace the drain pump, part number PS12731241. Good luck with your repair!

If the washer will not switch to the spin cycle, the lid switch may be malfunctioning and you will need to check it for continuity with a multimeter on the Rx1 setting to see if it is operating normally. Before removing and checking the lid switch, unplug the washer from the electrical outlet. First check to see if you can operate the switch mechanically and to see if the levers and actuators are damaged or sticking. If you are able to operate the lid switch mechanically, test the lid switch with the multimeter. You should receive a reading of zero. If you get any other reading, you will need to replace lid switch. We hope this helps!
