White magic smoke came out of front.
I removed two screws at the rear top, slid the top back. Then removed the screws holding the front face on. The circut board had a few screws holding it on. I removed them and detachted the wires, then installed the new board. I then reassembled the front and the wires. I put it back together and plugged it in. Everything lit up and the dryer was fixed. HORRAY! My wife was happy again. Daddy saves the day, not to mention the repair cost.!

Remove and Replace Electronic Control Board
It's easy. Make sure the dryer is unplugged, or the circuit breaker is open. Remove the two screws at back of top panel, and slide the panel rearwards to remove it from the dryer, and set it aside. Remove the four screws that secure the interface panel/control board assembly to the dryer. Unplug the wire harnesses from the back of the control board, making note of the position of red and black terminal lugs. Lay the assembly front-side-down on a soft surface, and remove the six screws attaching the control board to the interface panel. Once the screws are removed, carefully pry open the plastic locking tabs to allow the control board and interface panel to separate. The cycle knob and its shaft are tight fitting, so be careful while prying them apart. Transfer the clear plastic light tubes, and the digital display module, from the old control board to the new one, then the cycle knob and its shaft, making sure to align the slots. Carefully press the new control board into position on the interface panel until the plastic tabs lock it in place. Then re-install the screws. At the dryer, re-attach the wiring harnesses, making sure to return the red and black wires to their correct position. Secure the assembly to the dryer with the four screws, making sure that no wires are pinched or chaffing against metal surfaces. Slide the top panel back into position (from back to front) so that it seats properly, and re-install the two screws to secure it. Re-attach the vent duct if necessary, close the breaker or plug the machine in, and you should be good to go!

My Frigidaire dryer beeps 3 times then flashes ERR . It does not show a code. It continues to run and does dry clothes. The delicate cycle has stopped working. I am not sure I want to order parts unless I can be sure it is the CPB or something else. I have also have done a reset to factory. Thanks
For model number GLEQ2152ES0
Hi Garry,
Thank you for your question. If the dryer is flashing ERR with no code and delicate cycle is no longer working on your dryer, the issue is likely the electronic control board and it will need to be replaced. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

ERROR CODE E 68
For model number GLGQ2152ES0
Hello Ronald, thank you for asking. We have researched your model and found that the error e68 appears when there is a problem with the control panel, either its stuck button or a faulty control panel. Carefully test each button to check if there is any obstruction while pressing/clicking it. If not, then you may need to replace your PCB Control, part number PS12724036. We look forward to hearing from you if you need assistance with placing an order through our 7-days-a-week customer service. We hope this helps!

Dryer will not start. Has power, however when Start button is pushed, it will not start. Door closed. Does this sound like a control board?
For model number GLEQ2152ES0
Hi Edwin, thank you for reaching out. We have concluded that the issue does seem to be with the control board, part number PS12724036, which may need to be replaced. Let us know if you have further questions!

My dryer frequently stops mid-cycle with all lights flashing. Vent pipe has been cleaned and Fantech booster fan is working properly, with good air flow out the exhaust vent. There is heat, although using lower than "high" heat setting seems to result in little heat and dryer stopping before set time. A few years ago similar issues arose with little or no heat, and I found that the heater switch on circuit board was intermittent, which I fixed by inserting a paper wedge between 2 components - suggesting a PCB issue. It has worked for a few years but with a return of problem, I assume it is time for PCB replacement. The number on my PCB is EL 1345062 C. When I selected your replacement PCB it indicates it is compatible with my dryer model (GLEQ2152ES0) but I don't see a PCB number corresponding with mine (1345062 C). Please confirm if your replacement PCB is compatible with my machine.

Dryer is throwing a E68 error code. Beeps three times and stops running. I've been able to unplug it, leave it and it would run again, but not anymore. Error code indicates control panel or sticking buttons (button aren't sticking)
Thank You

Hi Lynn, Thank you for the question. If the buttons are not stuck and there is no damage or wear to the Buttons, you may have a faulty Control Board PartSelect #: PS12724036. Good luck with the repair!

My Frigidaire stackable dryer starts running then stops and starts beeping with all lights flashing. It continues to beep periodically until I unplug it. Thanks, Pete

Hello Pete, Thank you for writing. We suggest testing the Thermal Fuse with a Multimeter to check the continuity and make sure there is no build up in the venting system preventing a good air flow. We hope this information helps!
Hello Eddie, thank you for a very interesting question. According to our research, this error code indicates that the motor is using high current. We recommend you replace the drive motor, part number PS418132, to fix the issue. We hope this helps!
